LONDON – MMA Junkie is on scene and reporting live from Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 204 event, and you can join us for live play-by-play and official results beginning at 1:30 p.m. ET (10:30 a.m. PT).

UFC Fight Night 204 takes place at the O2 in London. The card streams on ESPN+.

In the main event, Alexander Volkov (34-9 MMA, 8-3 UFC) takes on Tom Aspinall (11-2 MMA, 4-0 UFC) at heavyweight. In the co-feature, Arnold Allen (17-1 MMA, 8-0 UFC) meets Dan Hooker (21-11 MMA, 11-7 UFC) at featherweight.

Cody Durden vs. Muhammad Mokaev

Round 1 – They sprint to the center of the cage to meet, as the energy between these two has been high all week. They both offer quick kicks and then get back to size each other up. Mokaev lands a flying knee out of nowhere and Durden goes down. Durden quickly tries to scramble back up and get a takedown, but gets caught in a guillotine. Durden lifts and slams Mokaev, but the choke is still in deep. Durden tries to escape but he can’t and has to tap. What a finish to start the card, and what a debut for Mokaev.

Cory McKenna vs. Elise Reed

Round 1 – They touch gloves and Reed immediately lands a stiff right hand. An exchange of punches follow. Reed then goes high with a kick, followed by a side kick to the body as McKenna presses forward. A big right hand lands for Reed again, but McKenna eats it. A leg kick from Reed is answered by a quick two-punch combo from McKenna. They trade punches, with both just missing the mark on flush contact. McKenna lands a nice punch. The crowd starts to get into it and a wild exchange of punches occurs. Reed lands a quick front kick and McKenna shoots in for a takedown, resulting in a clinch against the fence. After adjusting, McKenna lifts Reed up with a high-crotch and drops her to the mat. On top in guard, McKenna lands a couple of punches to the body and a hard elbow before they return to the feet. Reed lands a hard right hand in an exchange and the round comes to an end. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Reed.

Round 2 – They trade leg kicks to start the second. McKenna sits on a two-punch combination, but only lands the first punch. Reed goes back to the right hand, followed by a leg kick a moment later. A few more quick leg kicks from Reed. A punching exchange soon follows, with both landing good shots. McKenna lands the left jab as she circles around. They trade punches again. McKenna is light on her feet and darts in for a quick one-two. Reed shakes her head after a punch from McKenna lands. Reed presses forward and lands another right hand. McKenna jabs and follows it with the left head kick, but doesn’t quite get all of it. They trade punches with Reed landing a hard left and McKenna answering back with one of her own. Reed darts in and lands another right hand. Reed lands two leg kicks and McKenna shoots in for another takedown with 10 seconds left. She gets it, but Reed pops right back up and the round ends. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Reed.

Round 3 – Reed starts the action in the final round with a quick combination of punches. They move about the cage and then trade punches as Reed controls the center. McKenna dips down for a takedown and takes the fight to the mat. Reed is able to get her in guard, and McKenna looks to land punches. A pass to half guard is blocked by Reed. McKenna lands a couple of punches from the top. Reed gets her feet on the hips, pushes off, and they return to the feet. A moment later, Reed lands a nice combination and McKenna stumbles back. Reed connects again with a nice punch, but this time McKenna lands as well. Reed just misses with a hard right hand against the fence and McKenna grabs a clinch, looking for a takedown. Reed keeps it standing though, and the fight concludes. MMA Junkie scores the third round 10-9 for Reed, giving her the fight 30-27.

Jack Shore vs. Timur Valiev

Round 1 – Shore takes the center of the cage and they begin sizing each other up. A quick clinch by Shore, but he bails on it. They trade quick leg kicks. Valiev swings with a big overhand right and just misses, Shore returns with a punch of his own. Shore lands a right leg kick, followed by a left high kick that is blocked. Shore lands another leg kick, then a body kick, but Valiev answers with a kick of his own. A body kick lands from Shore. Valiev catches a right kick from Shore and uses it to initiate a clinch. Valiev lands a knee that goes south and the referee pauses the action. After a brief stop, they return to action in the center of the cage. Shore goes back to his quick leg kicks, but Valiev catches the second one and uses it to get a takedown. Shore doesn’t stay down long though, and keeps with the clinch on the feet. Pressing Valiev against the cage, Shore looks for a punch but Valiev separates. Back in space, they trade punches. Valiev goes to the body, then the head with punches. Shore answers back with a kick before the round ends. MMA Junkie scores the first round 10-9 Valiev.

Round 2 – The action picks up quickly in the second, as Valiev comes out firing. Shore catches a kick, answers with a punch, and uses his forward momentum to get a takedown. Valiev is quick to get back to his feet and separate, but then immediately shoots in for a takedown of his own that is completed. On top in guard, Valiev punches to the body and then looks to transition. Shore gets back to his feet, but Valiev sticks with him in the clinch. Shore eventually shakes him off and they get back to the center of the cage. Shore lands a kick to the body as Valiev lands a leg kick. They trade punches, with both landing clean. After an exchange of kicks, Shore grabs a clinch with two underhooks and presses Valiev to the cage. Shore lands a couple of nice knees after trying to drag Valiev down, but he is reversed and taken down. Shore is quick to get back up and sticks with Valiev against the cage until the round comes to an end. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Shore.

Round 3 – Valiev leads an exchange to start the third. Shore answers back in a big way, dropping Valiev with a hard one-two combination. Shore rushes in to capitalize, but Valiev is able to stay calm and get back to his feet a moment later. Valiev lets his hands go and starts clinch, but Shore shakes him off. They trade more strikes in the center of the cage. Shore looks for the clinch and Valiev jumps on a guillotine attempt. The choke appears deep, but Shore is able to adjust and work free. After a few moments on top in guard, they return to the feet, but Shore goes right back in for a single-leg attempt. Valiev is able to remain standing and they go back to the center and exchange strikes. Shore lands nicely as Valiev misses with punches. A moment later though, Valiev lands a nice punch that gets Shore’s attention. Shore lands a nice kick and follows with another hard combination that sends Valiev down to a knee. Valiev pops up and a wild exchange of punches follows. The crowd is loving the action. Shore gets Valiev down after pressing forward and the fight ends on the mat. MMA Junkie scores the third 10-9 for Shore, giving him the fight 29-28.

Paul Craig vs. Nikita Krylov

Round 1 – Fast start to this one as Krylov rushes across the cage and looks for a front kick, but Craig catches it and uses it to get a takedown. Krylov ends up on top in half guard after they scrambled for position. Krylov lands a couple of short strikes while staying heavy on top and driving his forearm into Craig’s throat. Craig remains calm and gets the forearm off, but a moment later Krylov postures up and lands heavy punches before closing back down. Krylov postures up again, lands more punches as he tries to pass, but Craig threatens a triangle, ultimately keeping Krylov in guard. Craig gets two feet on the hips and pushes Krylov off to create space, and then slaps on a triangle choke in the blink of an eye, and a moment later, Krylov taps. Wow.

Shamil Abdurakhimov vs. Sergei Pavlovich

Round 1 – They touch gloves and begin sizing each other up in the center of the cage. Abdurakhimov tries to find the range with a couple of leg kicks early. They both offer a few punches, but nothing lands yet. Abdurakhimov slaps with an inside leg kick and one to the outside a moment later. Pavlovich lands a quick left jab, which is followed by a hard right a second later. Pavlovich charges forward with more punches, but Abdurakhimov circles away. Abdurakhimov tries to close in but is met with a hard uppercut from Pavlovich. The left jab from Pavlovich lands again. Abdurakhimov misses with an overhand right and tries to clinch, but abandons it after Pavlovich stood firm. Pavlovich lands a huge upward right hand that drops Abdurakhimov and then he swarms in. Abdurakhimov covers up as Pavlovich rains down hammerfists from the top and the referee stops the action. A couple of the strikes may have gone to the back of the head, but nevertheless, Pavlovich scores another TKO finish.

Makwan Amirkhani vs. Mike Grundy

Round 1 – Amirkhani meets Grundy on his side of the cage, and Grundy shoots in for a takedown. Amirkhani jumps on a guillotine attempt and switches to an anaconda choke. Grundy scrambles to escape, but Amirkhani keeps with it and applies more pressure. Grundy stops moving, the referee checks on him, and he’s out cold. Flawless victory for Amirkhani.

Jai Herbert vs. Ilia Topuria

Round 1 – They touch gloves in the center and begin feeling out the range. Herbert strikes first with a punch. Herbert puts together a string of punches a moment later. Topuria lands a nice punch but is met with a huge kick. Topuria crashes to the canvas but quickly regains his composure to go for a takedown. Herbert keeps it standing, but is pressed against the cage. Topuria keeps with it, lifts, and drops Herbert to the canvas. Topuria ends up in side control, but Herbert regains guard. A couple of quick punches to the body and head from Topuria before he attempts to pass, but Herbert keeps him in guard. Herbert pushes off and gets back to his feet. The striking display from Herbert continues as his range advantage is a problem for Topuria. Marc Goddard pauses the action to give Topuria his mouthpiece that fell out. Herbert lands a nice knee up the middle to knock out Topuria’s mouthpiece again. Another nice combination of punches from Herbert before the horn. MMA Junkie scores the round 10-9 for Herbert.
